Mark does an unboxing of the much anticipated Planet Unknown Deluxe Edition with the Supermoon Expansion from Adam’s Apple Games.
Mark finally unboxes the Planet Unknown Deluxe Edition and its Supermoon expansion from Adam’s Apple Games, one of his favorite games of all time. He explains why he backed the reprint even though he already owned the retail game: the redesigned lazy Susan space station now has a lid and strap, so the polyomino tiles stay put when the box stands on a shelf.
Along the way he walks through the deluxe component trays, the civilization cards and tiles, the life pods, the player boards and resource tracks, and the corporation abilities that change how each planet develops. He finishes with the Supermoon expansion’s moon boards, salvage tiles, satellites, the fractured planet, new event and civilization cards, and the extra patch types.
About the game: Planet Unknown is a polyomino tile-laying game for 1–6 players, designed by Ryan Lambert and Adam Rehberg and published by Adam’s Apple Games. A game takes about 70 minutes.
